For Example:  For example, your program or school begins its Subscription in November, 2009, but you know that you will not have the opportunity to use your Subscription during December 2009, June 2010, and July 2010, so you may skip those three months and use them in September 2010, October 2010 and November 2010 instead.  It is up to you which months you wish to use your subscription for.  You can skip ANY month(s) you wish (just be sure to use your nine-months-worth before 14 months have passed.)

Option A:  Single-Site Subscription

A Site Representative for your school or program will be given a special username and password to view, print, and cut-and-paste up to two (2) articles per month into your own word processing or desktop publishing program, so that you can use The Down To Earth Dad newsletter articles in your own publications during the subscription period.

 Delivered to you via the Internet.  A "Site Representative" for your school, program, or district accesses a customized web page to view and print a single copy of each monthly issue of The Down To Earth Dad newsletter, and to access a special additional web page to cut-and-paste "text" versions of  chosen articles into your own publications, if desired.
   

Agreements...

  • Who Can Subscribe:  Any one, single school, center, or site (or a program subscribing only one, single school, center, or site).  You may only subscribe at the "Single-Site" subscription level IF you will make the newsletter available to parents connected to only one "site" -- one school, center, or program site at one physical location/address.  (If you want to provide The Down To Earth Dad newsletter content to parents connected to more than one physical location -- such as a Head Start program with six "centers" or locations, or a school district serving 10 schools -- then you would need to go with the "Multiple-Site" subscription option (see below).

  • Copying / Reproducing:  You agree to copy only up to two (2) articles each month; moreover, you agree not to copy the entire newsletter.

  • Circulation/Distribution:  You may distribute The Down To Earth Dad articles only within one school or program site.

  • Giving Credit:  You agree to give credit for all articles used, via the following statement:

Option B:  "Multiple-Site" Subscription

A Site Representative for your school or program will be given a special username and password to view, print, and cut-and-paste up to twelve (12) articles per month into your own word processing or desktop publishing program, so that you can use The Down To Earth Dad newsletter articles in your own publications during the subscription period.

Your teaching staff at more than one location can "log in" with the password that we give you, and they can cut-and-paste The Down To Earth Dad articles into their own school and/or classroom newsletters or other publications -- at their own school/center/site within your service area.  They can do this every month, via any combination of articles and teachers, until the 12 article-downloads are used up for that month.

Option C:  "Printing-Press" Subscription

Description...

You can make your own copies/reprints at this subscription level, reproducing the "camera-ready copy" that we provide to you (in color, or black-and-white), to give The Down To Earth Dad to ALL your families.

  • Ready-to-Reproduce Issues of The Down To Earth Dad newsletter -- available for schools, programs, school districts, and regional education service agencies -- are the most economical, comprehensive, "turn-key" way to serve multiple recipients.

  • You download the newsletter monthly, as "camera-ready copy," from The Down To Earth Dad website.  (You can choose "color" or "black-and-white each month, depending on your reproduction needs.)

  • Print them out, use a copy machine or an offset printing press, or by other commercial means (maybe your school district has a print-shop) to reproduce/copy the articles for distribution during the subscription period.

  • The Ready-To-Reproduce Subscription allows you to reproduce all, or part, of the newsletters each month.  You may use articles from each issue in your newsletters, or other publications -- including any accompanying artwork.
